This September, we’re bringing back our famous Real Ale Festival at The Buddle Inn, and it’s set to be a proper celebration of the pint!
We’ll be pouring over 16 handpicked real ales across the weekend – showcasing the very best from local legends Yates Brewers and Goddards Brewery, alongside a carefully curated mix of regional and national favourites. From light and hoppy to dark and malty, there’s something for every palate.

The Buddle Inn is a beautiful 16th-century clifftop pub in Niton, known for its rich history, character charm, and unbeatable sea views. With 80 covers inside and 100 outside, we offer full table service, a fresh seasonal menu, and a welcoming, high-volume environment.
We’re on the lookout for an experienced, hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead our team and deliver top-quality service day in, day out.

This year's annual Round the Island Race takes place on Saturday 7th June. With competitors setting sail from Cowes early in the morning; the day always proves to be a spectacular event.
We will be serving breakfasts from 9am–11.30am in our garden. So be sure to get some of the best views of race day at here at The Buddle Inn.

Our New Holding Manager at The Buddle Inn!
We’re excited to introduce the wonderful Hayley, who’s stepping in as holding manager at The Buddle Inn while Teal is away on maternity leave.
Hayley brings a wealth of experience in hospitality and is already settling in brilliantly. She’s passionate about great pubs, good food, and warm welcomes – everything The Buddle stands for!
A local herself, Hayley lives in
St. Lawrence, so she knows the island well and is always up for a friendly chat. We know you’ll make her feel right at home as she leads the team with care and energy over the coming months. Pop in and say hello!

Beaujolais Nouveau Est Arrivé!
September 7th 2024
Join us here for a Fantastic Gallic tradition – Beaujolais Nouveau! A red wine produced in the Beaujolais region of France. It is a 'vin de primeur', fermented for just a few weeks before being released on the 3rd Thursday of November. To celebrate we'll be serving a special breakfast with live music and a bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau. And through the weekend we'll also be serving a specially created French themed menu!
